Built in the 18th century as a rural summer holiday manor house for a gently born family, Quinta do Torneiro is well preserved, both inside and outside. Ceilings are high and artistically crafted, stunning 250-years old hand-painted tiles (azulejos) cover the walls of all main rooms. Secular trees provide shade and tranquility in the spacious central courtyard, a beautiful small chapel harmoniously complements the set.
Main building offers multiple and connected rooms, there are three garden options, a covered terrace and a large free parking area – only a few minutes from the international airport and the historical center of Lisbon.
